How do you confront people of other faith systems? I don’t. I encourage their spiritual search. Spiritual fervency in the wrong direction is better than spiritual apathy in the right direction
Iconoclast means “image” “breaker”. What images did Jesus break? No need for the temple, no need for priests, no need for religion. That was good news!
To the Lord, the Lord’s supper was a meal with friends he knew would deny him, not an exclusive privilage for those who had proven a certain level of faith.
If holiness is to become like Jesus, then the unwillingness to hang with the people Jesus hung out with would be considered “unholiness.”
To become poor in spirit means consider oneself empty spiritually.
